1. Our Privacy Philosophy: Offline-First & Zero Tracking

We firmly believe your nutritional choices, meal schedules, health goals, and grocery lists are deeply personal matters. Healthy Meal Planner is engineered from the ground up as an offline-first application:

• We do not require you to register an account, submit an email address, or sign in via third-party social platforms.
• We do not collect, host, or transmit your name, caloric targets, custom recipes, or meal plans to external cloud servers.
• We do not integrate commercial advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or cross-application tracking beacons.

2. Information Handled by the Application

All data entered while interacting with Healthy Meal Planner is stored locally on your Android device via Jetpack DataStore Preferences (healthy_meal_prefs):

*None of the aforementioned data is ever transmitted to Gree Web Solutions, advertisers, or third-party data brokers.

3. Device Permissions & Usage

Healthy Meal Planner requests only standard Android platform permissions strictly necessary for local device functionality:

• Notifications (android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used on Android 13 (API level 33) and newer exclusively to trigger gentle local daily reminders (at 12:00 PM for midday hydration and 5:30 PM for evening meal planning) if you voluntarily enable the "Daily reminders" toggle in Settings. These alerts are scheduled locally via your phone's internal AlarmManager and do not connect to remote push servers.
• Internet Access (android.permission.INTERNET): Used solely when you voluntarily tap external links within the About & Settings screen (such as "Rate this app on Google Play", "Privacy Policy", or "Terms of Service") to open the web browser. The application does not send background health records over this link.

4. Third-Party Services & External Links

Healthy Meal Planner does not embed third-party analytics trackers (such as Google Analytics for Firebase, Mixpanel, or Flurry) or advertising networks (such as Google AdMob, Unity, or Meta Audience Network). When you access external platforms like the Google Play Store to leave a review or download updates, your interactions are subject to Google's independent Privacy Policy.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)

Healthy Meal Planner does not knowingly collect or solicit any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). Because our application operates 100% offline without account sign-ups, no identifying personal records are ever compiled. If a parent or guardian believes their child has contacted us with personal information via email, please reach out to us at info@greewebsolutions.com to have it permanently deleted immediately.

6. Data Retention, Deletion, and Backup

• User Retention & Control: Because all information resides on your local smartphone storage, you retain total ownership and control over your records.
• Complete Data Deletion: You can purge all stored recipes, meal schedules, and preferences at any time by clearing application data under Android system settings (Settings > Apps > Healthy Meal Planner > Storage > Clear Data) or by uninstalling the application.
• Android Device Backups: If you have enabled automated Google Drive backups on your Android phone, your local app preferences may be archived as part of your device's standard encrypted operating system backup, subject to your Google account security settings.

7. Policy Modifications & Updates

We may periodically revise this Privacy Policy to reflect application feature upgrades or statutory guidelines. Any modifications will be posted directly to this URL with an updated "Last Updated" date. We advise reviewing this statement periodically.
